In addition, you may input and store additional, vehicle-related data such as, but not limited to:

• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

• Mileage / odometer readings

• Year, make, and model

• Maintenance history and tasks

• Insurance and registration details

• License plate numbers

• Notes about the vehicle or maintenance

• Uploaded images or photos of your vehicle or documents

 

2. Use of Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the Driveway experience

• Help you manage your vehicle data and schedule maintenance

• Securely store your uploads and notes

• Communicate important service-related updates

 

3. Storage and Security

All user data is:

• Encrypted at rest and in transit

• Stored securely on cloud servers

• Protected by industry-standard security practices, including HTTPS and password hashing

 

4. No Location Tracking

Driveway does not collect or use GPS or location data.

 

5. No Ads or Marketing

We do not:

• Display ads

• Use your data for marketing or promotional purposes

• Send marketing emails

 

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services only for essential functions:

• File storage (e.g., storing your uploaded images)

• Transactional email (e.g., sending password reset emails)

These services do not process or use your data for any purpose beyond their technical role. We never sell or share your data.

 

7. User Controls

You can:

• Delete your account and all associated data

• Update any of your information, including email and password

All actions can be performed directly within the app.

We do not currently offer data export functionality.

 

8. Children's Privacy

Driveway is not intended for children under 13. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may use the app only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian and in compliance with local laws.
